Hello Buddies
Wassup!

Facebook is acquiring to keep teens engaged without leaving its platform with its test of LOL, a feed of memes in the form of videos and GIFs.Multiple sources confirm that Facebook has spent months building LOL and it is divided into categories including For You, Animals, Fails, Pranks, Wait for It, Savage, Classics, Gaming, Celebs, School and Stand Up.

Once users began scrolling on the feed, LOL converts into a theater mode with a black border, auto-advancing to more clips also reaction buttons appear beneath each video for Funny, Alright and Not Funny.

As seen on TechCrunch questioning, Facebook confirmed it is privately testing LOL as a home for funny meme content with a very small number of users in the United States.

Facebook LOL service is currently in the beta state with high school students who signed non-disclosure agreements with parental consent to do focus groups and also testing LOL with Facebook staff.

Facebook also confirmed to TechCrunch that there are no plans to add this to watch whereas it may be added as a separate feature in the Facebook app itself. Facebook LOL service also cuts each video clip up into sections of several seconds long that users can fast-forward it with a tap like in Instagram story. There is also a share button to share the content also meme creators can upload videos or also can paste in the URL of the video to submit LOL.
